"This cabin was the perfect size for a couple! And while it may be compact, it has so many features that make it a great way to escape while still having modern "necessities" like a washer/dryer, AC, and wifi.The stream outside was so nice to listen to every evening. The location was private and welcoming. Cabin was very clean and tidy, and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware.An easy property to recommend!"

"My in-laws an my husband were camping in Old Forge for years and this time we got back with our kids to show them Adirondack mountains. Everything was great! The property is big, clean and ready to accept renters. Large fire pit was the place for our evenings with kids and grandparents. The balcony was our place for breakfasts and dinners. Very homie atmosphere. Close proximity to Old Forge. Loved it and will be back for sure!"

"The house was perfect for our group. Peaceful, spacious, and super clean. Tucked back on a long private driveway, it felt like our own little escape in the woods, but it was still close to town and the race finish.We had our one-year-old with us and really appreciated how family-friendly the place was. The pack-and-play, high chair, and open layout made things easy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals together, and the view from the deck made morning coffee a highlight.The hosts were great — clear instructions, easy check-in, and everything was just as described (if not better). We’ve stayed in a lot of places for races and weekend trips, and this one was by far a favorite. Would 100% stay here again!"

"This is our second stay at High Pines cabin, and it’s always a pleasure. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. We enjoy sitting on the screened in-porch, listening to the rooster crow, or the birds chirping or the river ever cruising by. Thendara and Old Forge are close and there are a few good golf courses not too far away."
